Peak-A-Boo Play Provides Safe Summer Fun
Recently, Nicole Levine relocated to Denver from Chicago, and couldn’t help but notice the lack of play spaces in the area, for her two young, active boys. She decided that the Mile-High City was the prime place for her pop-up space.
Launched Memorial Day Weekend in 2018, Peak-A-Boo Play is a clean, safe, play experience offering drop-in, open play for children three years of age and under. Located in Stanley Marketplace in The Hangar, parents and caretakers must be present with their children, who can explore more than 500 square feet of mats, plush tumbling gear, sensory toys, bubbles, music, and more. Parents have the opportunity to socialize, grab coffee, and take a breather, as well as enjoy pre- and post-play shopping and eating at Stanley Marketplace.
Summer admission is $10 per child, and sibling discounts are available. Peak-A-Boo Play operates Monday and Thursday mornings from 9am to noon. Hours are subject to change or expand and will be posted regularly on www.peakabooplay.com and social channels.
Guests can take advantage of discounts at several Stanley Marketplace businesses including June Ruby, Steele Angel, Goose and Goat, and Rosenberg’s just to name a few. In addition, Nicole will host several events in June:
Thursday, June 7th:
Parents can bring baby gear to Peak-A-Boo Play for free collection by GoodBuyGear. If an item is on their most-wanted list, guests will receive free admission for one child, plus up to 80 percent of the proceeds of the item when it sells.
Thursday, June 14th:
Jill Loftus of Honest Occupational Therapy will be on site to answer questions about baby/toddler development and offer advice on sensory play. Parents can take advantage of this service for free and then get access to a discounted full evaluation at a future date if desired.
Throughout the summer, Peak-A-Boo Play will be offering story time, music classes, and toddler-approved snack sampling, information about which will be posted on the website.
