Nothing kicks off the Holiday season like the Sixth Annual 1940’s & 50’s White Christmas Ball. Held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver will be transformed to look like a scene right out of Irving Berlin’s classic holiday film for the 1940’s & 50’s White Christmas Ball.
Celebrating its sixth year, the large-scale charity ball will spark the imagination of 3,000 plus guests with a magical holiday party straight out of the 1940’s. Guests will enjoy live music, costumes, reenactments of classic holiday films, sleigh rides, food, drinks, and dancing. The annual sell-out event raises money for the Wounded Warriors Project and the Spirit of Flight Center Colorado.
The 1940’s & 50’s White Christmas Ball is one of two annual charity events held by 
the 1940’s Ball celebrating “The Greatest Generation.” The 1940’s WWII Era Ball, a 1940’s USO style event, is held annually each summer at the Boulder Airport. Since the events began in 2008, more than $53,000 in event net proceeds have been donated to charities including the Wounded Warriors Project and the Spirit of Flight Center Colorado.
Guests and VIPs may arrive beginning at 4 p.m. for this year’s 1940’s & 50’s White Christmas Ball on Saturday, Dec. 5, for free swing dance lessons with 23Skidoo. Doors will open for general admission at 5 p.m. with a red carpet paparazzi arrival.
