One of the quintessential Mommy groups in Denver is the Highland Mommies – written about in their cover story, Westword’s title is “The Highlands Mommies are raising babies and raising Cain in northwest Denver” -which is perhaps true, but for most people who post and lurk on the list, it’s a great source of baby items, sympathy about sleepless nights with babies and information about neighborhood break-ins.
With all of this, a big change happened this month at Highland Mommies:
Highlands Mommies has moved their site to BigTent. As our group continues to grow close to 3K members, we needed a more robust site that could not only handle our size but our growing needs. BigTent gives us so much more capability than we had with our previous host. Additionally, along with the move, Highlands Mommies has their very own web site at: www.highlandsmommies.org which we hope will be an excellent source of information not only for our members, but for our community at large. Come visit us! If you have any questions or comments, contact Laverne Herrera-Hay & Elina Martinez, Managing Directors for Highlands Mommies: email@example.com.
They also now have a blog where they share some of the great stuff happening in the group with the general public here!
