Getting Your Kids Where They Need to Go

New Denver Kids Rideshare Service for Busy Metro Families

Families are busier now than ever before, which brings challenges and stresses when parents need to do the jobs they love and still get their children to various schools all over town as well as after-school extra-curricular activities. Many parents have lamented about the time they spend shuttling their children about town, and for those who are re-entering the workforce or want to keep their full-time jobs, there is a new service in town to help.

It is Colorado’s first-ever ride service for kids age six and older, providing dependable and safe rides to get kids where they need to go when they aren’t able to do so themselves. HopSkipDrive was originally developed by three safety-obsessed working moms, and ensures that all CareDrivers pass its mom-approved, selective 15-point certification process which includes extensive background checks, finger printing, ongoing DMV checks, ride-alongs, reference checks, and driver training. In addition, all drivers are required to be members of the TrustLine Registry.

The service is easy to use, by booking rides either online or by downloading an iOS or Android app. Once the ride is matched to a CareDriver, parents receive a picture and bio to share with their rider(s). Parents receive notifications at pick-up and drop-off, and a personalized secret code for their rider(s).

“We serve all of metro Denver, and find that we’re enabling families to do things they couldn’t do before, and for many, that has been life-changing,” said Joanna McFarland, CEO of HopSkipDrive. “Parents using this service can also rate the rides and so far we’ve had a 92 percent satisfaction rate.”

Parents will be pleased to know that HopSkipDrive offers real-time monitoring of each drive, which detects things like speeding, sudden braking, and phone usage. The CareDrivers are given a score so that the company can continually ensure that safety comes first.

The demand has been so strong in Denver that HopSkipDrive will be expanding into Boulder and Colorado Springs. Rides start at $15 dollars and carpool rides can be as low as $6 with multiple families in the car. To learn more, visit www.hopskipdrive.com.
