Want to Write for Us?

We’re looking to expand the depth and frequency of the blog posts here on Denver Parent and as such we’re looking for contributing authors and guest posts! We enjoy hosting other perspectives and would love to share yours with others.’

Whether you’ve had an experience as a parent you want to share, or attend a group you’d like me to focus on, I’m pretty much open to anything you’d like to share with the Denver Parenting community. Keep in mind this is NOT just Mothers, but all parents, including same-sex and single partners. We don’t discriminate based on race, religion or lifestyle choices.

At this time we only accept submissions from local authors – Denver preferred, some Colorado authors will be considered. No promotional or generic material will be considered.

For regular contributing authors, we can also offer a large selections of products to try out, tickets to events to review and other incentives. Please contact us – info@denverparent.net – if you’re interested in a more long-term arrangement.

Denver Parent Guest post guidelines!

What kind of content do you accept?

We are looking for articles of interest to new parents, parents facing new challenges (for example special needs) or parents who are new to the Denver Area including information on events. Posts can be derived from your own personal experiences or around your personal expertise. There is no minimum length for your post. We’d rather post quality over quantity.

Guidelines
• You can include up to two links in the byline, which will be displayed.
• Your content must be of value to the reader and not purely self promotional.
• We have the right to turn down anything that we think will not be of value to our readers.

How do I submit my guest post?
If you have a post that meets the guidelines above, you can send it to me on via email info@denverparent.net . I’ll get back to you to let you know. I will let you know in a reasonable amount of time when I can run the piece and if I can’t (for some reason) run it, I will give you a reason.

Posts can be submitted as rich text with html or Word documents (I can accept most versions of Word). If you do use Word, please send photos separately – I can pull photos out of documents, but it’s kind of a pain!
