An Intergalactic Feast for the Eyes and the Stomach

We’re going to cheat and admit we actually did this amazing two-some between Christmas and New Years when the kids were bored, but it’s not too late!  Plus, if your kids are like ours they need cheering up after heading back to school!

First, go check out  “Star Wars and the Power of Costume” at the Denver Art Museum. This amazing show runs through April 2nd and you’ll love it so much, you may want to go more than once! First, it may seem pricey at $24, but that’s only for 19 and older. ALL kids 18 and younger are only $5! (members are even less, so be sure to log in as a member if you are one!).

What we especially loved about this exhibit was how it appeals to everyone. From Star Wars Fans young and old to anyone who loves costuming, cosplay or any sort of fiber art will adore it. The costumes are simply breathtaking, from the oldest costumes from the 70’s to the current movies. Even Yoda makes an appearance!

The audio tour guide is great as well, and the kids version is as fun as the adult one (you can actually listen to either).

Afterward, we were thrilled to dine on an amazing catered dinner from Qdoba! With a hot bar that included soft and hard taco fixings, beef and chicken and we ordered the queso and chips as well as cookies for dessert. What was amazing is how this fed 2 adults and 5 hungry teenagers!

Beat the Post-Holiday Blues with a Trip to Star Wars and the Power of Costume and Qdoba!
