How to Train Your Dragon 2 fast and fun for all ages

I’m going to make a confession up front, I hadn’t seen the first movie, I got my daughter to do a 3 minute synopsis for me and so I had an how-to-train-your-dragon-2-traileridea what I was going into , but I really wasn’t prepared for how intelligent, fun and action packed this movie was going to be. For whatever reason I was under the impression that the first movie was sort of juvenile, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The movie was great for old ages…even teenagers might like the action and funny story line!

When Hiccup and Toothless discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace.

Starring Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, and Gerard Butler, the fun acting and plot make this movie easy to watch and most of it is very funny and cute. For parents of small or sensitive children, there is a very sad scene in the movie that might upset your child, the great news is it’s followed by a VERY funny scene to offset the sad part.

Alec, from Alec-o-pedia (my son 🙂 ) has this to say (spoiler included…just a small one):
