Thrifty tip of the week! Breadcrumbs!

We have several things we do to be thrifty around our house. one that may not occur to most people is to make bread crumbs out of leftover bread.

Our family always leaves the last little bit of bread in a loaf. If this souds familiar, instead of throwing those out, consider putting them in the food processor, reducing them to crumbs and putting them in a large gallon ziplock bag and storing in the freezer.

We use bread crumbs for breading for chicken, to put into meatloaf, and other recipes.
